Website Manager Wanted
Quite a few of you know already that, for family reasons, I shall be moving away from the village soon. Although it is perfectly possible to maintain websites from anywhere in the world, I have run the Pillaton website since setting it up in 2010 and feel this is a good time for someone else to take over - being close to what is going on is a definite advantage. The website is funded by Pillaton Parish Council so if you are interested in taking on this role, please contact one of the Council members or myself through the "Contact Us" option at the bottom of the web page.

2023 Rainfall
Unless someone is prepared to take over recording the monthly rainfall from Brian Hutfield then this summary of 2023 will be the last. Although the weather over the past couple of months has been decidedly wet and windy, for the most part, 2023 was a drier year than most over the last dozen years and only just failed to pip 2011 as the driest with 1189mm (46.81") of rain recorded.
See the full 2011-2023 rainfall statistics.
